Tips to Leverage your Property Value with Interior Décor
With the mushrooming of the newly developed condominiums and houses surfacing in Klang Valley, reselling or renting it at a desired rate can be a challenge. Hence it is crucial for homeowners to think out of the box to increase its property value. One of the common issues faced by most property owners are none other than blank and dull wall leaving an uninspiring lasting impression among the aesthetic-conscious prospects.
The following are a few tips for your wall makeover:
1) Install Mirrors:
Mirrors are known as the savior for empty walls because it has the ability to expand wall, amplifly light and diffuse visual clutter. Hence mirrors are the good remedy to any design dilemma.
2) Display Artwork:
Hanging artwork is a great way to beautify blank walls and create a syncronizing flow to the decor of your home by adding more character and panache to your interior space.

Avoid hanging art and paintings around you home that are inherently overwhelming or distracting. To us, artwork should not dominate your interior space, it should in fact enhance them by a touch harmonising effect. Our advice to property investors is to select art and painting which are versatile, visually pleasing and could be reused in future properties once the properties are sold.

Accessorizing your décor such as cushions, lamps and carpet by using matching color or family colour to the oil painting or artwork in your décor definitely increases its visual impact in the room.
Whether to frame or not to frame a particular painting is one of the most commonly asked questions by our customers. Choosing the right frame for a painting is like finding the right pair of shoes to match your dress or pants. The right choice of framing can either enhance a painting or complemend it. However working in the opposite, it could be disastrous. From our experiences, overly elaborate framing often overshadows the painting instead of complemending it. But it works wonders in some cases.
Personally we feel that some paintings can stand on its own with gallery wrapped style or commonly known as stretching. It is more edgy and lightweight - a rather popular option with the modern and minimalist interior décor as it relatively more affordable.
If you have any questions regarding your framing style, visit our gallery and we could give you some ideas on how you could achieve your desired result.
